Questioni di sfondo: come il liberalismo può vivere e prosperare

This is a comment on Piergiorgio Donatelli’s book La vita umana in prima persona. The author agrees largely with the Donatelli’s aim to offer a sort of Millian-Foucaultian account of the bioethical liberalism, and try to explain why liberals should better investigate and take seriously all forms of oppression. Conclusions are devoted to the possible political implications of this account and some doubts are raised about it.
