Abstract:
This book reviews some of the issues emerged during the E-lab Symposium “Entrepreneurship Today” at the University of Bergamo (Italy) that took place in September 2010.
The authors explore the horizons of entrepreneurship research. The concept of entrepreneurship is analyzed from different points of view with a particular focus on issues such as innovation, finance, strategy, family business and entrepreneurship orientation.
These topics are attracting considerable interest, thanks to the wide range of cases, experiences and new phenomenon observed in global competition, which involve both the behaviour of firms and the new frames of the markets they compete in. The purpose is not only to find appropriate interpretative models but also representional frameworks that are effective and thus capable of increasing our knowledge in the field.
