Abstract:
The last few decades have witnessed a great development in the process of globalization in the legal field, where an international perspective has become more and more widespread (Gotti and Williams 2010). Nowadays many of the texts in use at a local level are the result of a process of translation or adaptation of more general documents formulated at an international level. This is the consequence of the fact that in the context of co-operation and collaboration in international trade, law too is fast assuming an international perspective rather than remaining a purely domestic concern.
