Abstract:
Product-Service Systems (PSSs) have appeared due to the Servitization phenomenon in the manufacturing sector. Consequently, manufacturing firms started offering services alongside their products in bundles to re-organize their business models, increase revenues, and gain market share. Simultaneously, awareness of environmental impact was raised, giving place to setting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and encouraging companies to start renewing their business models and processes to reduce their negative environmental impact. This paper assesses how manufacturing companies from different worldwide alliances affect sustainability through applying PSS practices. The research uses secondary data from a research paper and the SDG report. The data is analyzed through bar charts, mean values, and boxplot diagrams, and the results show that European Union member countries are the leading countries in achieving SDGs using innovative business models such as PSSs.
