Abstract:
Technological innovation has inevitably transformed the management of labor relations. Assuming that generative artificial intelligence (AI) is more likely to integrate into existing jobs rather than eliminate them, automation significantly impacts work performance, changing its intensity and mode due to new Al-driven organizational models. Additionally, Al alters traditional employer powers in organi- zation, management, and control, introducing new risks for workers. These risks have significant implications for data processing, monitoring, and evaluation methods, potentially affecting worker privacy and job security. Considering these premises, the article aims to explore the evolving landscape of labor relations in the age of AI and highlights the need for policies that balance innovation with worker protections.
