Professor Argyro Elisavet Manoli, MBA, Ph.D, is an associate professor in the Department of Management, University of Bergamo and a Vice-Director of the MSc Program in International Management and Marketing. Credentials: Doctorate in Marketing Communications Management from the University of Teesside, UK, Master of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, UK, and Bachelor of Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Research: Her scientific research focuses mainly on marketing communications management, brand management and integrity management mainly in the area of sport. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Strategic Marketing and Managing Sport Leisure and a member of the editorial board of a number of journals including Leisure Studies, Journal of Sport Marketing and Sponsorship and the International Journal of Sport Communication. Her research has been published in journals such as the European Journal of Marketing, the Journal of Interactive Marketing, European Sport Management Quarterly, the Journal of Strategic Marketing and Leisure Studies. Her research has been awarded funding from prestigious institutions such as the European Union, the Economic Social Research Council and the British Academy. She has authored a European Commission report and has received awards for her research, which has been also presented in the European Parliament and been cited internationally in public policy. Professional Activities: Following a career as a marketeer working in the professional sport industry, she has maintained close links with the industry, having developed and delivered training and research programmes for a number of sport organisations, such as the Barcelona Innovation Hub. She is currently a member of the Marketing Lhab research group of the Department of Management of the University, which aims to work closely with companies for market research, marketing and branding strategies.
