Course Objectives

Upon completion of the course, students will demonstrate a critical approach to 20th-century history. They will understand the principal lines of development and key turning points, master relevant categories of historical analysis, and recognize the diversity of historiographical interpretations related to the topics studied. Additionally, students will be able to compare contemporary and subsequent contexts and will have acquired precise conceptual and lexical tools. As a result, they will be equipped to engage in historical thinking that transcends a simplistic understanding of historical events.
