Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course provides the fundamental skills required in the projecting, development promotion and management of educational projects in both public and private sectors. As well as analysing the public-private sector relationship, the course looks at the huge changes in public administration in Europe, such as internal devolution and the influence of the EU. This tendency has been coupled in modern times with the demand that management is done less by individual institutions but rather by larger governing bodies, including private stakeholder involvement, with the public sector acting in the role of controller and as safeguarder. This trend has for some time been seen in the light of subsidiary ventures and can be seen in the reforms of local public services.

Course Prerequisites

There is no prerequisites, therefore, is not required to have passed public and administrative law. However, the program of the course takes into account the knowledge, from students, of the basic legal concepts of public law (notion of legal system and the system of legal sources, definition of administrative function and administrative organization.

Teaching Methods

Classroom lectures

Assessment Methods

Oral exam. Only students attending will be able to take one
intermediate written test concerning the program and the specific aspects studied during the lessons.
This program will not be subject to further specific verification at
final exam saves the necessary connection with the topics
covered by the remainder of the program. In the event of passing the intermediate written test, the oral result will be the result of a research of school administrative materials carried out independently, whose topic will be indicated at the end of the lessons with a specific communication.

Contents

The course develops the fundamental legal skills required in the projecting, development promotion and management of educational projects in both public and private sectors with particular reference to partnership tools applied to educational and social structures
