Syllabus

Course Objectives

1. Understand the physics of climate change, including the role of greenhouse gases and the energy balance of Earth's atmosphere.

2. Develop critical and higher-order thinking skills, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world problems.

3. Actively engage in seminars to discuss, analyze, and apply scientific concepts.

4. Apply theoretical knowledge through practical lab sessions, using software and advanced datasets.


Course Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of physics, chemistry, and mathematics; familiarity with using software for data analysis and simulations.


Teaching Methods

Lectures, seminars with expert speakers, practical labs using software, and interactive group discussions.


Assessment Methods

Written exam (50%), lab report (25%), oral exam on seminars (25%).


Contents

The course covers the fundamental principles of climate change physics, the analysis of energy systems, and practical application through seminars and labs.
