The course provides the basis for theoretical analysis of firms, industries, and market mechanisms to prepare the student to sustain the firms' strategic decisions. In this respect, the course analyzes market structures and firms' strategies, focusing on pricing and non-pricing structures (differentiation, quality, innovation, etc.). Empirical evidence and policy implications are also a substantial part of the course.

The courses in Economics and Mathematics are strongly recommended.
Frontal class
The exam verifies the basic notions and problem-solving ability using the provided models. It is written and composed of three exercises.
