Syllabus

Course Objectives

In line with the educational objectives of the degree course, the course aims to provide knowledge of the fundamental institutions of financial market law, with an inductive methodology that allows students to acquire a solid and articulated legal preparation, starting from specialist topics to recall more legal principles general treated or mentioned in other courses activated in the department and essential for their cultural and professional formation.

The course aims to provide the necessary tools for understanding the legal system of the financial market in its essential components, through the analysis of the rules of the Consolidated Law on Finance, the related implementing regulations and their concrete application.


Course Prerequisites

basic knowledge of private law (or commercial law)


Teaching Methods

Teaching will take place by means of frontal classes, during which interaction between the lecturer and students is encouraged (also via presentations and group homework). Learning through an interdisciplinary approach is also encouraged


Assessment Methods

The examination will take place through 16 multiple choice questions.

- Banking Union

- bank balance sheet

- bank crisis management

- deposit insurance

- fintech, digital currencies and payment services

- investment activities and services. Financial instruments

- elements of sustainbale finance
