Syllabus

Course Objectives

The aim of the course is to educate students on technical and teaching models of team sports.

The main objective is to teach the core technical and teaching guidelines of considered sports.

From a technical point of view, at the end of the course the student will:

- know the technical principles of the different sports;

- know the teaching methodologies of the course team sports, both individual and team fundamentals, in relation to age and gender;

- know how to organize and manage working groups for the above-mentioned disciplines;

- assess the reliability of the teaching programmed applied.

Teaching Methods

L’attività didattica sarà organizzata prevalentemente in attività di tipo pratico-esercitativo e/o laboratoriale insieme a momenti di lezione frontale dialogata. Per promuovere feedback costruttivo tra pari si prediligeranno attività di lavoro di gruppo di peer tutoring e debriefing.

Sarà inoltre possibile l’organizzazione di seminari tematici anche in modalità a distanza.


Assessment Methods

The final exam consists of a written test and an oral test.

  1. Written Test: A multiple-choice test. Passing the test (minimum score 18/30) is necessary to access the oral test.
  2. Oral Test: An interview divided into two parts, one for each module of the course.


The final grade is as follows:

  • 34% multiple-choice test grade
  • 33% oral part grade on Module 1
  • 33% oral part grade on Module 2


Optional Interim Tests (for Attending Students)

During the course, attending students will have the opportunity to carry out activities (group work and presentations). These tests will contribute to the final grade. The specific methods of these activities will be communicated at the beginning of the course.

- basic motor schemes, motor skills and abilities of team sports (technical and educational aspects)


- performance models for team sports


- technical and tactical principles of team sports: individual and team-specific fundamentals


- rules and regulations for team sports


- basic elements of the athletic preparation of team sports.

More information

Attendance of the course is compulsory in its technical/practical lessons. For working students or with other specific needs it is advisable to contact the teacher. For ERASMUS students, the examination programme can be agreed with the teacher.


All teaching material presented during the lessons is made available on the Moodle or Teams platform.
