Students will attain a good knowledge of the topics covered during the course and will be able to consciously use the tools acquired. The course aims also to provide students with a critical understanding of the basic concepts of the Inferential Statistics: point estimation; confidence intervals; parametric hypothesis testing

Course Prerequisites

Recommended: Elements of Mathematics

Teaching Methods

The course is taught through class lectures.

Assessment Methods

The exam is in written form. It consists in several exercises (usually 6-8). Students have about 2 hours to complete it. The student must identify proper techniques to be used, among those learned in the course.
