Syllabus

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, the student will have an enterprise overall view and he will have the basic notion for understanding the dynamics governing firm management. Thanks to this knowledge the student will be able to analyze the firm strategic management and to examine its main functions.

Teaching Methods

The course is characterized by lectures, with a particular attention to discussion and direct dialogue with the students. During the course will be organized meeting with experts and entrepreneurs in order to better
understand how to manage a firm. For attending students there will be practice exercises and classroom activities.

Assessment Methods

The final exam consists of a test structured in 15 closed questions and three open questions. Regarding the closed questions a score of 1 point will be given to each right answer. Undelivered or wrong answers are worth 0 points. Open-ended questions are instead evaluated on a scale
from 0 to 5. The exam is passed with a score of at least 18 points.

With the specific purpose of pursuing the educational objectives set by the TRANSET Program within the framework of the Department of Excellence 2023-2025, the course will involve specific educational and training activities on the topics of social, ecological, and technological transition.
