The students will acquire:
a) the knowledge of the Italian constitutional system, specifically with reference to: the forms of state and government; policy-making process; structure and functioning of the public system; rights and duties granted by the Italian Constitution;
b) the ability to use the legal methodology with reference to the system of legal sources and constitutionality of laws;
c) the ability to analyse Constitutional law issues (with special reference the constitutional principles of tax law)

Final oral exam
1) the Italian Constitution as an essential reference in the public decision-making process (political representation - form of government; functions of the State and constitutional bodies); 2) the system of legal sources (super primary sources - primary- secondary and autonomous - criteria to resolve antinomies); 3) constitutional rules referring to international relations and to the EU integration process (adapting internal laws to EU laws - EU regulations in the sources system); 4) the Constitutional Court (structure, role and function of the Constitutional court - the constitutional review of the legislation- types and effect of constitutional decisions); 5) safeguards and guarantees for fundamental rights (equality and "reasonableness" of laws; constitutional catalogue of rights); 6) the constitutional principles of tax law.
