Course goals:
Contents: Introduce students to some of the fundamental theories of contemporary metaphysics of the mind.
Method: Introduce students to the analytical-argumentative method of problem analysis and encourage them to critically evaluate the discussed ideas.
The course is introductory and there are no prerequisites.

–Materialist Theories of the Mind: Identity and Functionalism
- Arguments against materialism: the knowledge argument and the conceivability argument.
- Non-materialist theories: emergentism and panpsychism.
