At the end of the course, the student has acquired knowledge of the most relevant cardiovascular diseases, including epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis and management.
Moreover, the student is able to understand and interpret the diagnostic and therapeutic processes in Cardiovascular Medicine, being aware of their aims and of the importance of differential diagnosis. This latter underlines the acquisition of critical knowledge of the similarities and differences in pathophysiology and clinical manifestations across diseases.
