Cartografia e rigenerazione urbana: sistemi di mapping per la restituzione di territorio

The “Rifo” research conducted by the CST-DiathesisLab of the University of Bergamo monitored building heritage that needs redeveloping actions in Lombardy. The research showed that this heritage must be tackled from urban areas and relating brownfields to obsolete buildings. The Rifo method also produced mapping systems that, through a reflexive approach to cartographic analysis, allow people to consult detailed information on brownfields and obsolete buildings, becoming the platform for inclusive urban regeneration aimed at giving back territory.
