abstract:
The young poet M. Voloshin made a trip to Italy in 1904 with two friends; they left us a diary of their journey. The final stage of the Italian journey was Rome. The diary reveals the sensitivity of Voloshin still not quite mature towards the artistic treasures of the Italian capital, but a keen interest in aspects of everyday life.
