Rechtliches Wissen auf einer institutionellen Webseite – Eine Fallstudie zu sprach- und wissensorientierten Techniken der Popularisierung von Wissen im Netz

The contribution investigates how a German Federal Office conveys knowledge about legal concepts to the public through generally accessible popularizations. We combine an approach focusing upon knowledge complexity with a form-oriented approach in order to catch the specificities of websites. The investigated texts aim at presenting legal rules (rather than background information) and take advantage of the affordances of hypertexts and the web format.
