Similarità dei valori nello scambio intergenerazionale tra genitori e figli adolescenti

This study was focused on value transmission in families with adolescents and it intended to analyze the conditions that could promote parent-child value similarity. The two-step model of value acquisition (Grusec & Goodnow, 1994; Zentner & Renaud, 2007) was applied in the present study. Participants were 381 family triads (adolescents, and both their parents), who were asked to fill in the Portrait Values Questionnaire (Schwartz, 2005). Results revealed that value transmission is a very complex process and a number of conditions are needed in order to attain parent-child value similarity.
