Priglashenie k puteshestviju - Invito a un viaggio in Italia

The essay introduces a collection by Vladislav Tatarinov (valuable paintings dedicated to some Italian landscapes), accompanied by Roman Slavatsky's poems dedicated to the represented places. The dialogue between two forms of art, painting and poetry, and between two cultures, Russian and Italian, has suggested a historical-artistic-cultural reflection on the intercultural dialogue between Italy and Russia, and its long tradition (its beginning dates back to the period of the Italian Renaissance, in the 15th century). The starting point of the paper is Kolomna, a place with ancient traces left by Italian architects in the XV century, to which the two artists and the related artistic currents belong.
