The book is the first written in Italian to address the issue of the representation of migration in migration museums at European scale. Through an opening essay setting the conceptual framework, the analysis of a series of case-studies, and some contributions by other experts/scholars, the book articulates a discourse at the crossroads of museum studies, education, cultural policies and the contribution of contemporary artistic languages.
