Allestire un libro, leggere una mostra

Academic Article
Publication Date:
2018
Short description:
(2018). Allestire un libro, leggere una mostra [journal article - articolo]. In DOPPIOZERO. Retrieved from http://hdl.handle.net/10446/181342
abstract:
The article stems from the book written by visual artist and museum designer Claudio Ballestracci ('Con mano che vede. Disegnare per allestire', preface by Massimo Pulini, with texts by Marco Antonio Bazzocchi and Daniele Serafini, Panozzo Editore, 2018). Analyzing the book as a work of art per se, the article describes the main methodological issues at stake in relationship with the nexus between drawing and museums/exhibitions layouts, two of the artist's main flields of enquiry. The effort here is to underline the consistency in the "way of looking", to quote John Berger, adopted by Ballestracci in writing, drawing and tranlating his vision int he third dimension in exhibition design.
