Il centro cittadino attraverso i piani. Formazione di Bergamo moderna

The contribution covers Bergamo's urban planning since 1900. Specifically, it analyses Bergamo's general urban plans (for the 20th century, the 1900s plans, the Muzio-Morini plan of the 1950s, the Astengo-Dodi plan of the 1960s, the Secchi plan of the 1990s, the Gandolfi plan of the 1990s, and the Gabrielli plan of the 1990s).
We then go through two urban projects that were decisive in shaping the urban layout of the new city centre: the urban scheme of the Fair's master plan and the winning project of the 2017-2018 International Competition, which recomposed the open spaces of the Piacentiniano Centre.
