Distancionnoe obucenie russkomu jazyku v universitete Italii: pervyj opyt v crezvycajnoj situacii: obscaja ocenka, trudnosti, preimuscestva i perspektivy - Distance learning of Russian at the University of Italy: the first experience in an emergency situation: general assessment, difficulties, advantages and prospects

The method of distance learning is well known and has been actively used for a number of years, but teaching students at the university is something else, involving not only the transfer of information and knowledge, but also the formation of character and personality of students as future specialists. In Italy it is considered that the system of lectures and classes in a group with a teacher and attending seminars, consultations - consultations—i.e. interactive presence of students and teacher - is the most effective form of teaching students and helping them to prepare for their future profession. But this past year we have all experienced the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, which has changed all of our everyday lives in a variety of different ways. This emergency situation has contributed to the formation of new competencies and a call for new methods of teaching. Classes that used to be held only in the classroom, using information technology only as supplementary aids, are now held remotely and videotaped. Challenges have arisen, but advantages have also emerged. Our article discusses several observations regarding these changes.
