abstract:
The purpose of this contribution is to provide students with some tools guidelines useful for approaching the system of sources in a conscious way of early medieval law.
In particular, the subject of analysis will be the role of the leges nationum ger manicarum in Carolingian "Europe" and in the Ottonian Empire.
