abstract:
The paper analyzes an experience in museum education and interpretation at GASC, a museum dedicated to christian contemporary art, with a strong vocation to a multicultural and intersectional approach. The educational program designed by the author aims at opening up the contents of the works of art in the collection, beyond the christian iconography, for them to be read by audiences from multiple cultural and religious backgrounds. The interpretations stemmed from the workshops proposed by the museum have been edited and published as a "library of interpretations" (on GASC website).
