The volume contains 70 schedules that reinterpret the fundamental events of Italian Risorgimento as described by men of letters and eyewitnesses. More than 40 Italianists have contributed to the volume, which was released with the support of the Committee for the Celebrations of the 150th anniversary of Italian Unification created in 2011 by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
