The chapter analyses the relationship between Gianfranco Ferroni's work in the 60ies and the codes and structures of Franch "nouveau roman", whom he stated were very influential in that time. More specifically, the essay describes the echos and influences of the nouveau roman's composition on Ferroni's experimentation.
