La Carta di Bergamo-Brescia delle aree protette periurbane. Verso un’alleanza con la natura per l’abitabilità della Terra

Since 2022 the Regional Park of the Colli di Bergamo and the Plis delle Colline di Brescia, in collaboration with the respective municipal administrations, have promoted the project Il cammino dei Parchi verso BG-BS 2023 (The Parks' path towards BG-BS 2023) aimed at the cultural reflection, action and involvement of the local population and institutions on the role of peri-urban belt parks and their territories as “laboratories” of innovation. The project, included in the planning dossier of BG-BS Italian Capital of Culture, led to the drafting of the Bergamo-Brescia Charter of Peri-urban Protected Areas signed by dozens of municipalities, from Bergamo and Brescia, and other public and private associations that have promoted a Collaboration Agreement to make the actions envisaged in the Charter operational. This volume attests to the first result in this sense.
