Short description:
(2013). Scoprire la collaborazione resiliente : una ricerca-azione sulle relazioni interprofessionali in area sanitaria [edited book - curatela]. In SALUTE E SOCIETÀ. Retrieved from http://hdl.handle.net/10446/31265
abstract:
The book illustrates how action research on healthcare organization can affect the integrated care models and the collaborative inter-professional interaction. The inter-professional collaboration has been analyzed from different scientific perspectives due to its impact on organizational efficacy and effectiveness.A fundamental contribution to this debate has been brought by Richard Sennett. The American sociologist has devoted many years of study to collaboration and he has largely shown how this unique human behavior is powered by social rituals and practice filled with symbolic meanings.
This book intends to follow Sennett's insights in exploring the symbolic and cultural dimension of inter-professional collaboration, and, more in particular, we will focus on the practice of collaboration.
