Short description:
Addressing CRMs scarcity: a focus group-based framework for risk mitigation in Italian strategic supply chains [conference presentation (unpublished) - intervento a convegno (paper non pubblicato)]. Retrieved from https://hdl.handle.net/10446/319525
abstract:
The growing scarcity of critical raw materials (CRMs) presents significant challenges for global supply chains, exacerbated by geopolitical tensions, environmental regulations, and rising demand for green technologies. This study investigates how companies perceive and manage CRM-related risks, focusing on resilience strategies in CRM-intensive contexts. Using a qualitative design with three case studies and a focus group of eleven experts, the research identifies key risk factors and strategic responses. Findings highlight emerging practices and persistent barriers, offering insights for firms, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to enhance resilience, reduce dependencies, and ensure the stability of strategic supply chains amid ongoing disruptions.
