abstract:
The transition from theory to practice in a research project needs to follow a concrete process according to the objectives, the involved partners and local contexts of investigation. This chapter describes the first phase of the research Centrality of Territories, aiming to promote a territorial regeneration based on the networking of resources and territories. At the international level, it has set up a university exchange partnership and, at the local scale, it has proposed pilot projects in order to show its concrete application. The aim is to enlarge the network in a multilevel perspective, with the university as coordinator, thanks to its dual role of organism for reflection, able to find theories and methods, and technological innovation, creating ommunicative and operational tools based on the use of smart technologies.
