Strutturazione, percezione, elaborazione dell’input per la L2: un’introduzione

The paper describes the role of the construct of the input in L2 teaching theory as it has changed in the last decades. The main differences between the input enhancement approach and the focus on form approach have been identified. Possible benefits between the results on the role of the input in spontaneous SLA and in classroom teaching are described in the paper.
