Valeria Giofré is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Bergamo, Italy. She earned her Ph.D. in Linguistic Sciences, with a specialization in historical linguistics. Her research primarily focused on Old English morphosyntax and grammaticalization phenomena. With a background in English language teaching across schools and tertiary education settings, she is currently exploring the integration of XR (Extended Reality) technology into ESP (English for Specific Purposes) education, aiming to enhance language acquisition and pedagogical practices, while contributing to the advancement of innovative teaching methodologies.
