Course Objectives

(a) to develop knowledge of the characteristics and importance of public law of economics;
(b) to provide knowledge of the basic tools on this topic;
(c) to encourage the capacity for in-depth study and independent critical reflection.
At the end of the course students will have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to understand the functioning of the main institutes of this topic and to operate professionally, afterwards, within the activities carried out by the Guardia di Finanza.

Course Prerequisites

Knowledge of Constitutional Law is required.

Oral exam: to obtain the sufficiency it is necessary to achieve at least 18/30.

1) State and economy from the unification of Italy to the republican Constitution. 2) The so-called Economic Constitution: concept and content. 3) The rules and influence of the Communities and the European Union. 4) The competition rules. 5) Public incentives or state aid. 6) Public enterprises and their privatization. 7) Public services and their liberalization. 8) The National Recovery and Resilience Plan. 9) Control over the financial markets and over public finance.

1) Knowledge of the Italian CONSTITUTION and relevant LAWS is REQUIRED.

2) If the course is given in a mixed or remote mode, changes may be introduced with respect to what is stated in the syllabus to make the course and the exams usable also in these ways.
