Verso la terra lontana. Latitudini italiane nel verbo lirico di Gottfried Benn

The article aims at questioning a commonplace in the so called Benn-Foschung according to which the Italian lanscape and imagery in the poet's works are just peculiar to his first poetic production under Nietzsche's influence. On the contrary, the article shows how the Mediterranean horizon still plays a significant role in Benn's aesthetic reflections and poems until the very end. In order to demonstrate this evidence, the artice focuses on poems which have not yet been considered in the critical discourse on this subject.
