Abstract:
Since spring 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has brought about profound changes worldwide and has also affected school systems. In our Country school education has quickly switched from face-to-face to distance learning. In the complex framework of issues and problems that have arisen or been highlighted by this experience, the research project that we intend to develop in the three-year doctorate course focuses on assessment and self-assessment. After giving an account of the current structure of the research and its progress, the reasons for the general hypothesis that a pedagogical approach to the culture and practice of assessment represents an essential resource for weaving better relationships between schools and students, families and the territory, offering cultural tools, indications for policy making and support for teachers' professionalism, will be discussed.
