Syllabus

Course Objectives

Acquisition of knowledge on the discipline of arbitrary. After completing the course the student will have a thorough knowledge - both theoretical and practical - of the operation of an arbitration.

Course Prerequisites

Prerequisites required are published on the web site https://lt-dini.unibg.it/it section: piano di studio DINI

Teaching Methods

Lectures. The course will analyze examples of arbitration agreements, requests for arbitration, arbitration acts and praises.

Assessment Methods

The examination of the end course will be oral and the evaluation will be expressed out of thirty. . The question will be structured in three questions concerning the entire program in order to verify the acquisition by students of the concepts taught within the teaching.

Contents

The course aims to cover the fundamendals of arbitration law, with special attention to the sources of arbitration (arbitration clause and "compromesso"), the powers of the arbitrators, the arbitration proceedings, the award, the appeals and arbitrations following pre-established regulations.

The most updated edition of the Civil Procedure Code is required during lessons.
If the teaching is given in a mixed or remote mode, changes may be introduced with respect to what is stated in the syllabus to make the course and exams usable also in these ways.
