  • to build skills for the evaluation of play in all its characteristics through appropriate tools
  • to build skills in creating engaging play activities and in applying educational intervention methodologies through play

Course Prerequisites

Teaching Methods

In addition to traditional lessons, accompanied by examples, materials and videos, the course will also include the proposal of active participation for students who wish to be involved.

The activity will be presented during the first lesson, and students who enroll will have the opportunity to concretely experiment with game modes in work contexts, internships, or others that may be identified. See also the references to the evaluation part of this Syllabus.

Assessment Methods

The course will also propose the active participation of students who wish to get involved.

The activity will be presented during the first lesson, and students who enroll will have the opportunity to concretely experiment with game modes in work contexts, internships, or others that may be identified. In this case, the evaluation, which will be individual even if the work is configured as the creation of a small group, will concern the quality of the product (the game played) created. The evaluation criteria will also be identified together.

For other students, the exam will consist of a written test: a multiple choice questionnaire also containing two open questions. All questions will concern the texts required for the exam. Students who wish to improve the grade obtained with the written test will be offered the opportunity to take an oral exam.

Contents

The contents of the Course reflect step by step the expected training objectives:

  • Play as a driving force and main element of development in the growth of the child (and by child we mean any child)
