Syllabus

Course Objectives

This course examines the strategies and challenges of marketing in an international context.

The course is designed to emphasize practical application and critical thinking, preparing students to navigate the complexities of international business environments.


Course Prerequisites

Teaching Methods

Through case studies, collaborative projects, and interactive discussions, students will develop the skills to analyze global marketing opportunities and design effective strategies for success.


Assessment Methods

In-class exam 1 and 2 (20%); Assignment 1 and 2 (20% each); Teamwork 1 and 2 (20% each).


Contents

Students will explore global market dynamics, including cultural, economic, and political influences on marketing decisions. Topics include international market challenges and dynamics, cross-cultural consumer behavior, global branding, and the adaptation of marketing mix to diverse environments.

The course is held in English as part of the internationalization project Summer Business Program (only for LT students in "Economics" and "Business Administration" and for foreign / Erasmus students).
