At the end of the workshop, students will have developed the necessary knowledge to reflect on the didactic transposition of some of the topics covered during the Complementary Mathematics course.
Basic concepts related to the fundamentals of mathematics
To obtain laboratory eligibility, participation in at least 75% of laboratory hours is required.
The content covered in the workshops relates to the areas of ‘Numbers’, “Relationships” and ‘Functions’. The workshops will focus on topics such as natural numbers, rational numbers, and an introduction to algebraic thinking, with particular attention paid to the role of language in mathematics. The workshops will allow for an initial didactic reflection on the topics covered in the course: specific mathematical content will therefore be addressed, paying attention to the specific difficulties associated with these topics, and appropriate teaching methods will be proposed to address these difficulties.
