The course provides a wide overview of analog and digital electronics, with particular focus on the issues related to systems of measurement and control in industry and the development of new sustainable technologies. The aim is to familiarise students with the devices and techniques commonly used in electronic instruments.
Knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, logarithms, differential calculus, complex numbers. Basic of electromagnetism.
The course consists of ex-cathedra lectures and Applied activities.
Written exam at the end of the course. The exam requires that students provide the solution to four exercises about electronic circuits.
Operational amplifiers (linear and nonlinear processing applications of analog signals), CMOS technology, A/D and D/A converters, digital electronics (logic gates, flip-flops, counters).
The course is given in Italian. The material relevant to the course is available in the elearning system of the University of Bergamo.
