Primo Semestre (15/09/2025 - 20/12/2025)

Syllabus

Course Objectives

The course provides an overview on the fast developments and enormous potential of electronics and sensors in healthcare. The course provides a broad survey of analog and digital electronics, with particular focus on the issues relevant to measurement systems for biomedical parameters. The aim is to familiarise students with the devices and techniques commonly used in electronic instrumentation for biomedical applications.

Course Prerequisites

Background knowledge about calculus and physics.

Teaching Methods

Classroom lectures.

Assessment Methods

Written exam at the end of the course. The exam requires that students provide the solution to two exercises about electronic circuits, and answer questions about the subjects discussed during the course.
