Syllabus

Course Objectives

This is a mandatory lab, worth 3 credits, that allows students to complete their managerial training with some fundamental skills in Project Management, which are highly valued in the job market.


Course Prerequisites

Only students enrolled in the 3rd year of the curriculum MeGA, EA degree course, are allowed to attend.


Teaching Methods

Starting from October 2025 (you will receive a notification when the first materials are available), five video lessons on the fundamental topics of Project Management, with particular reference to phases and tools in project management, will be uploaded to the dedicated e-learning platform every 7 to 10 days.

The video lessons are supplemented by a textbook, slides, and case studies.

Once published, the material will be available to students for the entire academic year.

Access to the e-learning platform

Third-year students enrolled in the Management and Business Administration curriculum are invited to register on the course’s e-learning platform: MeGA-Lab a.y. 2025-26 - https://elearning15.unibg.it/course/view.php?id=8276


Assessment Methods

The exam will be conducted on a pass/fail basis (i.e., pass/fail), without the assignment of a grade.

The test:

10 multiple-choice questions based on the lessons, slides, textbook, and case studies uploaded to the platform. The test will be computerized and held in one of the computer labs. To pass, it is necessary to score at least 6 points.

• The value chain of a project and the initiation points of a project

• Objectives: the SMART acronym

• The 5 process groups

• Mapping and managing project stakeholders

• From the business case to the project charter

• The Responsibility Matrix

• The project schedule or Gantt chart and compression methods

• Managing project risks

• The project manager and the project team

• Critical points in projects
