Syllabus

Course Objectives

At the end of the course the student will have a thorough knowledge of different types of sensors. He will also have experience with the tools for the design of electronic systems and will have carried out experimental activities with sensors.

Course Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of electronics

Teaching Methods

The course consists of ex-cathedra lectures and experimental activities in the laboratory.


Assessment Methods

Oral exam at the end of the course.

Contents

The course gives an advanced knowledge of sensors and electronic systems for different applications. Low-power wireless communication techniques and protocols for IoT systems will also be presented.

Simulation of electronic circuits and systems.
