A previous exam in Italian Literature is required.
Lectures. Students will give speeches and reports on specific topics. Workshop with well-known scholars.

Declinations of the tragic in Italian literature: three cases
Starting from the Aristotelian theorization of tragedy, the course investigates three creations located between the sixteenth and twentieth centuries, allowing students to explore the theme through in-depth textual and critical analysis.
The program is valid for attending students and for not attending students.
