Acquire theoretical knowledge and operational competence of methods of analyzing linguistic phenomena at different levels and for different purposes. Particular attention is given to non-European languages as opposed to Middle European standard languages in typological-comparative and acquisitional perspectives.

The course is based on the educational principle of direct participation. Students will be progressively involved in language documentation actions.
Final assessment of profit is through an oral interview and verification of skills during the course.
Theoretical and methodological principles of typological comparison among languages. Analysis of some near and far eastern typological areas.
Students are required to consult the mode space dedicated to teaching for materials, documentation and information related to final exam preparation.
