The learning objectives of the course are as follows: understanding of the historical evolution of museology, in relation to cultural and artistic movements of different epochs; understanding of the social component of museology, i.e. the museum interpreted as a political actor; knowledge of the strong themes of the contemporary debate on the museum in its relational, educational, social dimensions; awareness of the dynamic dimension of the museum in its historical evolution, also in relation to contemporary communication tools.
